I’m a security guard and we use two-way radios for communication but I’m going to be getting a CB radio and was wondering if it’s possible to use it to talk to a two way radio. Like would it be the same frequency or the same channel as on the two way? Thanks.

I have recently bought a CB radio but i don’t want to install it in my car or buy a portable hand held one. All i need is a power source but all of the ones that i found are too expensive. Does anybody know a cheap power source for it.

Okay, I don’t want to go through a bunch of extra wiring steps to get my cb radio wired into the cars supplied dc power. So can I buy some sort of adapter that lets me plug it into a cigarette lighter outlet?

I am looking to purchase a decent CB radio for my car. I only want to spend about $100 all said and done, maybe a bit more. I have looked around and like Cobra a lot, but I’m not sure which model or what antenna to get with it.

i bought a cb radio from walmart and it says PA on the front of it. i dont know how to hook it it up. any help?

I drive truck and coming out of a rail yard a guy standing on the street offered me a Galaxy DX99V for $40. I’m finding I made a great buy, as it goes for $349 on alot of websites, but I also found out that it’s really a 10-meter radio. I’d like to use it as just a regular CB, but don’t know if I can or how. If anybody knows what I can set it to for regular CB use, information would be greatly appreciated.

Ive got a couple questions:

1. Do I need an antenna for my CB radio to get reception?
2. Can you get reception if you keep the antenna in the car?
