Why Aren’t You Using a Home Water Purifier?

Have you read about this recently?
On January 30, 2008, the Los Angeles Times reported that there’s a new risk facing every water supply in the developed regions of the world. It seems that prescription drugs are now being detected in the water supply. After being consumed, passed, and released down the drain these drugs are not being removed by any public treatment facilities. This means is you could be getting tiny amounts of 1000’s of different drugs such as antidepressants, stimulants, downers, steroids and probably any other over the counter pharmacy drug you know of that’s been sold, mixing with your next glass of refreshment. If you’re like me, then you probably started considering the thought of a home purifier water system.
As you can probably surmise, most people do not consider the effects their daily contributions will make to the public water supply and when it comes to large corporations, they truly don’t care much about anything other than profits. Unfortunately, Government regulations for improperly disposing of waste and the fines associated with it do not seem to be a deterrent. What’s worse, the Government itself is failing to protect its citizens from being exposed to several dangerous contaminants at one time. Shocked???
While we as humans have a responsibility to avoid abuse in our permissible dumping, not all of society cares or shows concern to the environment. So much so that several contaminants found in tap water can be traced back to gasoline, cleaning products, lawn chemicals; the list goes on and on… This leads us to see that our water supply is very vulnerable and at the mercy of mankind…
There are many forms of contamination occurring in tap water that can easily be remedied by a home water purifier. Some of these include SOC’s (synthetic organic chemicals), agricultural runoff, household chemicals and recent disclosure about excreting and flushing drugs. While the use of manmade chemicals has added convenience to the way we live, it has become so extreme that SOC’s can now be found in water supplies all over the World. Obviously, water cannot reproduce itself so the planet recycles what it has to consume again. As SOC’s increase so does our water’s toxicity. This cannot be removed by natural means, nor do public water treatment plants have an effective enough solution for removing them.
Bottom line, it is clear that the quality of the water we consume has been steadily declining. So far our Government and its citizens have turned a blind eye to the problem. They continue to band-aid these situations by dumping chlorine into our drinking water, failing to address tens of thousands in contaminants seeping into the tap and carelessly ignoring the seriousness of pollution.
Now it’s time to start putting this knowledge to work for your family. If you are truly concerned about water and its relationship with your health, it would be beneficial to take what you’ve just learned and spend some time looking into a quality home purifier water system.
Wireless Infrared Home Security System

With home security becoming more accepted and utilized across the country, before installing any type of system make sure you understand any limitations that may be part of any of the systems on the market. One of the most common, a wireless infrared home security system can be connected quick and easy and without the need to run cables between the camera and the recorder or monitor. A wireless infrared home security system can be used at driveway entrances and as area-wide surveillance. By the nature of the infrared technology that makes it useful in covering large areas, its use to transmit signals is non-existent. For most uses in a wireless infrared home security system there is a transmitter that sends out an infrared beam to a receiver. If the beam is broken, the receiver opens a loop, kept closed by receipt of the beam, and activates an alarm.
This technology makes infrared an ideal solution for covering a room with a single device. Many alarm systems use infrared detectors on large rooms with numerous windows to cover the interior of the room instead of separate devices for each door and window. A wireless infrared home security system can cover much more area with a single device that most wired devices.
Due to the fact the an infrared beam flows in a straight line and cannon go through walls or people, the use of an wireless infrared home security system is limited. Think about the remote control on the television and how it cannot work through the kids or around walls. The same limitations exist in a wireless infrared home security system. They work well when covering a wide area, but cannot be used to send signals to a receiver unless they can establish and maintain a direct line of sight between the transmitter and receiver.
While the individual units can be hidden inside walls, there has to be a hole through which the signal passes. In a darkened room the red beam origination point can be readily identified. Although the beams used in a wireless infrared home security system may be wide, a narrow band trips the alarm when it is broken. In most cases a perpetrator can skirt the visible origination of the beam and work their way past the beam. This effectively allows some burglars to circumvent the entire alarm system. Most people use components of a wireless infrared home security system in conjunction with other types of devices to insure full and adequate property coverage.
